Iran–US–Israel War Day 12: Experts Warn Conflict May Escalate Further

The conflict involving Iran, United States and Israel has entered its 12th day with escalating missile strikes, drone warfare and air raids across the region. Defense expert Ashwini Shivaj said the war does not appear likely to end soon, as both sides continue intense military operations. According to him, the US and Israel are targeting Iran’s military infrastructure, communication networks and war-fighting capabilities, including facilities linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iran, meanwhile, has responded with large-scale missile and drone attacks across the Middle East, claiming to have intercepted over 100 drones. Tehran has also reportedly targeted US military positions in Kuwait and other Gulf nations. Analysts say Iran’s main strength lies in its vast stockpile of missiles, rockets and drones, while its air power remains relatively weaker. Another major concern is the disruption around the Strait of Hormuz, through which nearly 20% of the world’s oil supply passes. Experts warn that if the conflict continues for several weeks or expands with support from powers like Russia or China, it could evolve into a much larger regional war with serious global economic consequences.
