Honda Reveals 10 New Two-Wheelers for India, Led by ADV 160

HMSI has shown 10 two-wheelers for India, including the ADV 160 scooter, CB 500, Rebel 300 and 500, XR 300 Rally and the electric QC3.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has revealed 10 two-wheelers for the Indian market, in one of its largest product pushes in years. The range covers seven fresh models and three existing bikes carried over with new colours, reaching across scooters, roadsters, cruisers, adventure motorcycles, electric mobility and flex-fuel technology.

HMSI said the vehicles will reach showrooms in stages, with prices and firm launch dates to follow nearer each model's arrival. At the centre of the plan is a multi-pathway approach that brings internal combustion, electric and flex-fuel options together under a single strategy.

ADV 160 leads the scooter push

The headline scooter is the ADV 160. It runs a 160cc liquid-cooled engine and is set to be India's first scooter able to use E85 fuel. It carries an 8.1-litre tank, the largest in its class according to Honda, plus 27 litres of under-seat storage.

On the motorcycle side, Honda showed the CB 500, a retro-styled roadster built around a 501cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine fitted with an oil cooler. Buyers will get three versions: alloy wheels, spoke tubeless wheels, and a spoke tubeless option with graphics. The company also gave its CB350, CB350C and CB350RS new paint schemes while keeping their mechanicals unchanged.

Rebel cruisers and XR 300 adventure bikes

Honda widened its cruiser line with the Rebel 300 and Rebel 500. The Rebel 300 uses a 286cc liquid-cooled engine and comes in Standard and E-Clutch forms. The Rebel 500 steps up to a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin, also offered with E-Clutch, a system that handles the clutch automatically to ease riding in traffic.

Two off-road machines join the range as well. The XR 300L is a lightweight dual-purpose bike for city commuting and weekend trails, powered by a 293.5cc air-cooled engine with an oil cooler. The XR 300 Rally shares that base but is tuned for longer touring and mixed surfaces, with rally-style looks and kit.

Electric QC3 scooter claims 151 km range

Honda's electric line grows with the QC3 family scooter. A 3 kWh battery gives it an IDC-certified range of 151 km. It charges to 80 per cent in two hours and 40 minutes, and offers 32 litres of under-seat space, a Smart Key and a 5-inch TFT screen with connected features.
