NEW DELHI, November 3, 2026: Indian cricket star Hardik Pandya has won widespread appreciation after defeating global YouTube sensation MrBeast in an unusual baseball challenge and donating the entire $100,000 (approximately ₹94.9 lakh) prize money to charitable causes.

The Indian all-rounder stepped away from his familiar cricketing environment to participate in a baseball home-run competition organised by American YouTube creator Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast.

Although Pandya had reportedly never played baseball before, he successfully completed the challenge and secured the impressive cash prize. However, his decision to donate the entire winnings became the biggest talking point of the event.

The competition featured in a video published on MrBeast's YouTube channel on October 31, 2026.

The challenge required participants to hit baseballs out of the stadium, with three home runs needed to secure victory.

Pandya faced MrBeast in the contest, demonstrating his powerful hitting ability despite having little experience with the sport.

The competition became particularly exciting when MrBeast fought back to level the score at 2–2. Pandya eventually hit the decisive third home run to win the challenge and claim the $100,000 reward.

Indian content creator CarryMinati was also involved in the segment, adding an Indian entertainment connection to the international collaboration.

What made Pandya's victory particularly noteworthy was his decision not to keep the prize money.

Instead, he chose to donate the entire amount to charitable causes supporting underprivileged children and animal welfare.

Reports identified ADAPT and Community Streeties India among the organisations associated with the donation.

ADAPT is associated with support for people with disabilities, while Community Streeties India works in the animal welfare space.

The decision brought attention to causes that often need financial support and public awareness.

Global Sporting Stars Featured in MrBeast's Challenge

Hardik Pandya was not the only sporting personality featured in the latest MrBeast video.

The international challenge brought together several well-known personalities from different sporting disciplines, including:

  • LeBron James – Basketball

  • Erling Haaland – Football

  • Simone Biles – Gymnastics

  • Caitlin Clark – Basketball

  • Alysa Liu – Figure skating

  • Hardik Pandya – Cricket

The collaboration combined international sports personalities with MrBeast's popular challenge-video format, attracting attention from audiences across different countries.

From Cricket Ground to Global Entertainment

Hardik Pandya is widely recognised for his contributions to Indian cricket as an all-rounder, combining aggressive batting with medium-fast bowling.

His participation in the baseball challenge offered audiences an opportunity to see him compete in a completely different sporting environment.

The collaboration also demonstrated how global digital creators are increasingly bringing athletes from different sports together through entertainment-driven competitions.

A Victory Beyond the Scoreboard

While winning $100,000 against one of the world's most popular YouTube creators was an achievement in itself, Pandya's decision to donate the entire prize added another dimension to the story.

His participation brought together cricket, international entertainment and charitable causes in a single event.

The contribution towards organisations supporting vulnerable people and animals has also helped bring attention to their work.

For fans, the baseball challenge became more than just a competition. It offered a reminder that sporting personalities can use their public platforms to highlight social causes beyond their professional careers.
