War Watch: Trump predicts quick Iran war end, warns over Strait of Hormuz oil blockade threat

Amid escalating Middle East tensions, Donald Trump has claimed the conflict with Iran could end “very soon,” even as heavy fighting continues into its eleventh day. Trump stated that major damage has already been inflicted on Iranian military capabilities, including claims that dozens of naval vessels were destroyed and key defense systems weakened. He warned Tehran that any attempt to block global oil shipments through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz would trigger a far stronger military response. The U.S. administration also indicated it may temporarily ease certain oil-related sanctions to stabilize global energy prices and ensure uninterrupted crude supply. According to Trump, the United States Navy and allied forces could escort oil tankers through the Strait if necessary to secure international shipping routes. Meanwhile, Iran has responded defiantly, warning that it may halt oil flows through Hormuz entirely and asserting its control over the passage. The confrontation has already impacted global markets, with crude prices fluctuating amid fears of supply disruption and wider regional escalation.
