    UAE: Dubai uses drones to clean traffic signals in RTA pilot project

    Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a pilot project using drones to clean traffic signals. The initiative aims to enhance safety, reduce costs, and support environmental goals by cutting fuel and water use. Early trials at Marrakech–Rebat Street show drones clean one side in three to four minutes, cutting time by up to 50% and costs by 15%.
