Renault Bridger Takes Aim At Tata Nexon With End 2027 With Hybrid And Electric Options

Renault has revealed its Bridger concept and it will be a new Renault sub 4m SUV that will be placed below the Duster.

It will compete with the likes of the Tata Nexon and would be made in India.

    Renault Bridger Features

It will be sub 4m in size and will be available in hybrid and electric plus petrol of course. It will be launched by the end of 2027 in India.

Renault claims to have the highest rear knee room at 200mm and also have a large boot of 400l.

The car would be launched in India first before other global markets and it is based on the Renault Group modular platform, or RGMP small.

The Bridger looks tough and boxy while as a concept now, we can expect some of these details to eventually come to the production version.

It is compact but has square design details plus a spare wheel being placed at the back which gives a further 'tough look'.

The front has a large Renault written on the grille with LED headlamps which have an interesting pattern.

The concept has large 18inch wheels and a healthy ground clearance of 200mm.

With the highest boot space around and these looks, the Bridger will be a serious volume driver for Renault in India when it comes in at the end of 2027 which is some time away.

We expect a petrol version to be launched initially with a hybrid while an EV would come later.

It will also battle the upcoming Vision S from Mahindra which will also come in 2027.
