The state-wise gross for Day 3 totalled Rs 10.85 crore.

'Sardar 2' loses ground on Saturday

Karthi's 'Sardar 2', which also opened on September 10, moved in the opposite direction. The film collected Rs 2.20 crore in India net on Day 3, a 10.2% fall from its Friday figure of Rs 2.45 crore, according to Sacnilk. The Saturday total came from 3,035 shows.

With both films sharing a September 10 release, their first weekend has drawn a clear contrast: 'Mandaadi' building steadily day on day, and 'Sardar 2' easing back after its opening. All figures are approximate and may change as further studio and international market data are finalised.
