    Israeli airstrikes in Sanaa, Yemen, resulted in the death of Ahmed al-Rahawi, the Houthi prime minister, along with several ministers during a government workshop. The Israeli military confirmed targeting a Houthi site, amidst ongoing Houthi attacks on Israel and Red Sea shipping in support of Palestinians. Earlier strikes this week in Sanaa caused numerous casualties, escalating tensions in the region.
