    Indian Navy On Standby To Escort Ships From The Hormuz Strait

    Two India-flagged LPG carriers successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz, easing concerns over energy supply disruptions. The ships are headed to Mundra Port and Kandla Port, carrying nearly 92,700 metric tonnes of LPG. As tensions rise in the Middle East, the Indian Navy remains on standby to escort vessels if required. With nearly 20% of global oil flowing through the route, the situation continues to raise concerns for global energy markets and India’s energy security.'
