    Illegal residents deported: Saudi Arabia arrests 22,222 illegal residents in major crackdown

    Saudi Arabia has arrested 22,222 individuals for violating residency, labor, and border security laws in a week-long crackdown. Over 12,900 have already been deported, with others awaiting repatriation. A majority of border crossers were Yemeni and Ethiopian nationals. Authorities are also targeting those who facilitate illegal residency, with penalties including hefty fines and imprisonment.
