    Political temperatures are soaring in Tamil Nadu ahead of the upcoming elections, with Chief Minister M K Stalin launching a strong offensive against the opposition. Stalin targeted Edappadi K. Palaniswami, saying there is "no buyer" for attempts to defame the DMK, and accused the AIADMK of functioning as a "branch" of the BJP.
