    Ex-PL referee pleads not guilty to charge of making indecent video of a child

    Former Premier League referee David Coote has pleaded not guilty to making an indecent video of a child. The 43-year-old appeared in Nottingham Magistrates’ Court following an FA investigation where a video involving a 15-year-old was discovered. Coote, dismissed by PGMOL in 2024, faces serious charges and requested a jury trial at Crown Court.
