    Equity mutual funds: Inflows dip 25% MoM in August; NFO activity sees sharp drop

    Equity mutual fund inflows in India experienced a decline in August, falling to Rs 424 billion, primarily due to a reduced number of new fund offerings. Despite this dip, systematic investment plan inflows remained robust at Rs 282.7 billion. While thematic and small-cap funds saw reduced inflows, arbitrage funds remained popular.
