Breaking News: Pakistan Bombs Kabul Residential Areas, India Condemns Attack on Civilians and Hospitals

Last night, Pakistan launched a large-scale airstrike on Kabul, Afghanistan, targeting residential areas and critical infrastructure, including hospitals. The attacks, carried out using JF-17 and F-16 fighter jets with heavy payloads, caused massive destruction, killing over 400 civilians and injuring around 250 more. Flames engulfed homes, hospitals, and government buildings, leaving neighborhoods in ruins and residents in terror. The Afghan government condemned the strikes as deliberate attacks on civilians, calling them “inhuman and cowardly,” while Pakistan claimed it targeted only terrorist groups and weapons depots. Hospitals, including a 2,000-bed rehabilitation center, were struck, sparking outrage locally and internationally. Thermal imaging videos released by Pakistan showing precision targeting of civilian areas intensified concerns about the country’s intentions. India issued an official statement strongly condemning the attacks, labeling them “barbaric and inhumane,” emphasizing that such actions violate human rights and international norms. India also highlighted the mass displacement and destruction caused by the assault. Tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have escalated rapidly since February 22, following cross-border skirmishes that claimed dozens of military lives on both sides. Afghan authorities and international observers warn that continued strikes could destabilize the region further. Humanitarian agencies are mobilizing to assist the wounded and displaced, while global powers call for restraint and dialogue to prevent further civilian casualties. The Kabul attack underscores the fragile security situation in Afghanistan and highlights the urgent need for regional diplomacy to prevent escalation.
