    A squad of female refugee footballers exiled from Afghanistan under Taliban rule played in their first international matches at the FIFA Unites: Women's Series late last month in Morocco. The Afghan Women United players hope that FIFA will recognise the squad as the Afghanistan's national women's team and allow it to compete in official international matches.
